Official Unofficial Voting Station Pop Up Book

The purpose of this project is to introduce younger persons to the process and logistics of voting. Youth under 18 are among the largest group of disenfranchised persons who are unable to vote. Because of this, it is important to engage minors in the discussion of voting from an early age. I chose to create a pop-up book to capture the attention of younger children. Throughout the book there are various pop-up mechanisms as well as sensory pages which should spark a conversation around the topic of voting. Engaging younger persons with our current voting system will allow this audience to question it and its disparities.
